Dear Central Life Family,

Once a year we press the pause button to focus on our primary purpose in life — to make a difference in the lives of others. We believe that God has called us to live a life that outlives us.  The goal isn’t to live on earth forever, but to lead as many people as possible into a growing relationship with Jesus while we’re here.

My prayer is that we never forget the great grace and favor that has been placed on our house. Jesus is building His Church and He is using every one of us. Every individual, every family, every Dream Teamer, every giver, every person who prays, all of us are contributing, and God is blessing it. Every one of us has benefited from the investment.

Each year we continue this investment through the “My Best Gift” Offering. It’s a special, once-a-year offering we give over and above our tithes and offerings to make a difference in people’s lives. It’s a great opportunity for us to give in order to accelerate  the vision of our church and reach more people with the Good News of Jesus.

This year’s My Best Gift Offering culminates Sunday, December 16. We’re encouraging everyone to join with us on this special day. Our goal is less about a certain amount to be given, and more about encouraging everyone to participate in some way. It’s not about equal giving, but equal sacrifice.

This offering will bless people’s lives in four areas, which we call our Four Generosity Lanes:

  1. Local Outreach. Our first responsibility is right here on the Space Coast, especially in the cities where we have campuses. My Best Gift offering will allow us to build greater in roads of giving to local families in partnership with Brevard Sharing Center. Together we will give families their best Christmas ever.

  2. Strategic Partners. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus at least once. My Best Gift allows us to gift our Strategic Partners around the world who are present in nearly ever continent. They’ve made incredible sacrifices to advance the gospel. We are planning to give them a Christmas to remember and fuel their efforts in 2019 to remind them their efforts are not in vain.

  3. Central Life’s Next Generation. I believe we’ll all look back one day and say that the greatest investment we ever made was to train and equip young leaders to go change the world for Christ. This offering will fuel our efforts to build dynamic environments for CL Kids, Central Life Students and our growing internship program in 2019.

  4. Central Life Church. This offering accelerates the vision that we share here at Central Life—to plant life giving churches throughout the Space Coast. In January of 2019 we’ll continue the fulfillment of that vision with the launch of a brand new location in Satellite Beach, FL.

Please pray, sacrifice, and plan to give to our My Best Gift Offering—you can make all the difference. No matter the amount, you can play a crucial part in building the future generations of our church. Everyone matters. Everything counts.

As always, it’s between you and the Lord, and I trust Him for however He speaks to you. Just simply ask God, “What should I give?”

As a reminder, there are two ways you can participate:

1. Bring your offering on or before Sunday, December 16th and give in the service. (Special envelopes will be provided.)

2. Give online at centrallife.org under “My Best Gift”

Finally, this verse seems to sum it all up:

“Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for  our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.  By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the  future so that they may experience true life.”1 Timothy 6:17–19 NLT

I am honored to join with you in the cause that counts.

I love being your pastor!

Sincerely,
Pastor Ryan Alonso
